Graycliff Hotel is absolutely fabulous! The room decor is divine, the service is wonderful and the staff bends over backward to please. We've been coming here for years and keep coming back. |

We had a truly amazing experience. The atmosphere and staff made our stay more than we could have imagined. Everyone made us feel so at home and part of the family.
The accommodations were first rate. The cleaning staff was the best in the business. We never saw them, heard them, or were disturbed by them, but the room was always immaculate every time we returned to our room.
Also, the food was out of this world and I highly recommend the conch chowder.
We spent two blissful weeks of living and being treated like royalty. I would recommend Graycliff to anyone thinking of traveling to the Bahamas as the only place to stay on the island. |

The hotel was just beautiful, and the restaurant was superb. Our air conditioning developed problems part way through our stay and we were immediately moved to a new - upgraded - room. This was within an hour of our phone call.
Every meal we ate was wonderfully prepared, and the sommelier's recommendations were spot on. |

We were never recognized by the staff although there were few guests. Asked for a bottle opener and a lime for two days which we never received. Asked for tour of wine cellar but were put off. We were charged $23 for morning coffee in our room and never told that a continental breakfast was included in room fee. Absolutely no service by the pool. We expected much more! |

This place is absolutely georgeous. Although it is not on the beaches of the Bahamas, it's location in old Nassau is perfect for the historian. The building is 250+ years old and still one of the most beautiful places around.
We stayed in the master bedroom in the main house and it was huge - beautiful bathroom, antique furniture, and 20ft ceilings. Plus, it was only a short walk to the main Bay street area of downtown Nassau.
The best part of the Graycliff was the restaurant. I admit, it is pricy ($150 US$ for two) but worth it! Service is excellent. Also, be sure to ask for a tour of the wine cellar after dinner. Incredible.
The Graycliff is a great place to stay for the weekend or as an additional day to a Bahamas beach vacation. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
